Description
Image of copper halfpenny, rubbed smooth and engraved. Side one: one heart pierced with two arrows, the name "Jeremiah Douglas", and a picture of a feline animal underneath. (The letters "I" and "J" were interchangeable in the 18th century.) Side two: the image of a bird on a branch with ring in beak, and the date "1788" inscribed on the right.
